There had been long, nervous, anticipation for the day that I knew I must face my fears and use a hydraulic die press. I literally saw the light at the end of the tunnel AKA my die form, as I was almost finished filing it in the clamp by the window of the studio. Using a hydraulic die press definitely adds character and dimension to the sheet metal that I am so fond of using in simple ways. I cannot wait to explore further with this method and technique.
